Mp4 Stainless Steel Watch – Review 

Thinking of buying this nice little piece of technology?  This mp4 player is the popular one of its kind.  Simply by looking at this watch will make you want to go grab one for yourself.  BUT is it worth the money??  Here’s my take on it.

When I first was handed this mp4 watch player it was nicely displayed inside its box and a very durable box it is.  The reason for pointing this out is to help some understand that when your product is shipped, it’s secured with in packaging.

For the most part the functionality of this device kept up on its end of the bargain.  Although I wasn’t entirely surprised with the features as it comes with the most common features found in your normal mp4 players.

MENU'S - MUSIC/VIDEO:

There are 6 menus from which you can scroll and select from.  The first being MUSIC.  This is where all the music files are transferred to.  It’s very simple and basic to use.  The two file formats used are Mp3’s and WMA.  Lyrics are also supported on this watch in this section as it will display them for you while listening to your favorite songs.  There was nothing difficult about transferring your files over as it’s the drag and drop method.

The video playback was the absolute main reason that I bought this mp4 watch.  I was pleasantly surprised with the way things worked as far as playing my videos.  The screen was clean and the picture was very smooth.  This was something that I didn’t expect.  For some reason I had other thoughts about the video play back.  Since this watch only accepts AVI file formats all your movies would have to be converted using the video conversion software given in the CD.  If you can install software and read simply instructions you should be ok. J

One quick note, the screen has a nice clear crystal cover to help protect the screen.  Nice little addition to it for added protection.  Also, I was able to add 3-5 movies with 600 songs in my 4GB capacity model.

E-BOOK READER:

If you’re into e-books this watch also allows you to add text files for your reading pleasure.  If you have documents that you would like to read on the go you go to the menu and select the e-book/text reader and the document is shown very clear with white text and a black background.

PHOTO ALBUM:

Are you a picture person?  Then you would like this option.  Any pictures are easily converted to be added to this watch with the picture converter that comes with the watch.  The two buttons on the right side allow you to easily scroll through your album collection. 

SPEAKERS/SOUND:

The sound quality was a pleasant surprise!  After adding movies and songs to the watch I opted to see what the sound options offered.  The volume has a high 30 level system which is quite loud from a single speaker on a watch.  The cool thing about the sound options is the 6 mode equalizer.  You can select through Normal, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classic and 3-D Sound.

Aside from the regular menu screen layout you also have the TIME MODE option, which you can set as the screen saver.  The time is displayed in military mode and acts just like a watch.  It has a very nice digital high tech look to it.

The stainless steel mp4 watch is definitely a different look and feel.  If your conventional mp4 player is a little out dated for you can give an mp4 watch a chance and see how you feel about it.  It definitely gets high marks in the fashion department yet can offer a pleasant music playing, video watching experience.
