Mp3 Battery Life

Extending Your Mp3 Players Battery Life

Things to do to get the most out of your battery

So you bought an mp3 player a few weeks ago, maybe a few months back.  You go about your business with your mp3
player using it to listen to your music and so on.  Did you stop to think about the general care of your beloved music player, the one that gets you through that long work out and 9 to 5 job?

Here are some things to consider in helping increase the life span of you mp3 player.  I generally try to tell
anyone that has one to give it some decent attention.  Not too much just enough to keep that baby going.

Consider some of these:

Try keeping your mp3 player out of the car and humid conditions.  This is something that can naturally cause the
mp3 player to over heat and humid conditions can create some moist within your player. Even with the very least amount you could very well end up with an mp3 player that won’t turn on.  This happened to me when I left my mp3 player in the
car.  I believe it or not rainy days can cause some damage as well so take it inside with you and save yourself a headache.

Try charging your mp3 player when it is at its lowest battery power and stay consistent with this system.  I find
that doing this allows mp3 players to charge naturally from beginning to end.  You also want to leave it hooked up until it is completely full charged and you also don’t want to disrupt the charging during.

If it temporary battery life your looking to extend, try turning off the back light, and special features such as
the equalizer.  Some extra features can start to drain your battery play time by 30 minutes or more.  This is especially true with iPods and other similar mp3 players.

If you haven’t already done so, dress your player up!  Not only does this give you another cool color option for your mp3 player but it can also offer much added protection from drops and provide shock resistance.

In taking these actions you may notice that you’re mp3 player runs more efficiently while also giving you the extras of an extended battery life, not only short term but in the long run as well.
